Frequently Asked Questions
How long is a Yosemite One Day Tour?
Do you offer Yosemite One Day Tours in winter?
Do you offer other tours?
Yes. We do private San Francisco tours (4-hour minimum) and can do custom overnight tours for you to anywhere within a 200-mile radius of San Francisco. Please contact us with your special request.
Where do you stay on your overnight Yosemite tours?
We stay at the Majestic Yosemite Hotel (formerly called the Ahwahnee Hotel) in the heart of Yosemite Valley.
We want to drive ourselves. Can you look over our itinerary?
Yes. We do private itinerary and trail consulting for $199 per day of your trip.
What does your hourly rate include?
Our hourly rate includes transportation to and from Yosemite in a luxury Mercedes SUV with private driver; expert, inside knowledge of the park; and a behind-the-scenes view of Yosemite, one a traditional tour cannot offer. Not included are meals or hotel fees. Gratuity for your host is at your discretion.
Do you charge 24-hours per day?
No. Our overnight tours are $1,300/day, not including your meals or hotel fees.
What do we bring?
We recommend you bring comfortable clothing and walking shoes, a hat to protect yourself from the sun and sun block (if needed) and, in winter, warm clothes.
If you plan to dine at the Majestic Yosemite Hotel (which we recommend), please know a dress code is required for dinner. Gentlemen are asked to wear long pants and a shirt with a collar, and ladies are asked to wear a dress, skirt, or long pants with a blouse. Children over the age of four are asked to dress for the occasion as well. Breakfast, brunch, and lunch are always casual.
Please bring items and luggage which are only needed for your tour. Your larger bags can be safely stored with your hotel concierge in San Francisco. Our other rules can be found on our booking policy page.
What’s your cancellation policy?
All tours cancelled within 48 hours of scheduled time will be charged the full amount of tour.
