Instead, select your experience based on your mood—whether you are traveling for business or leisure, wildlife photography, educational sightseeing, a honeymoon, or for before or after a sporting event—and our private guides will create those fond memories, leaving your bucket list shorter than when you started.

We recommend packing comfortable yet stylish attire, where California’s weather can vary widely from the coast to the mountains and Central Valley farmland, with coastal areas often foggy and cooler—even in summer. So dressing in layers helps you, any more of your questions answered by phone.

We design your Private California Tour to offer a balance of cities, small towns and national parks, with our journeys lasting anywhere from 2–10 days. We also know where our expertise lies, and will respectfully decline tours beyond it (Sequoia NP, Mendocino, or San Diego).

In addition, our private guides may alter routes based on weather conditions, availability or other unforeseen circumstances. In rare cases, tours might be canceled due to trail closures or natural events such as erosion, rock falls or wildfires. We advise securing travel insurance to protect against any unexpected events.

Please note that busy times of year and special events such as the U.S. Open, Concours d’Elegance, Olympics or Super Bowl may require special rates.

There is a maximum of 3 guests on all private tours, with empty car time charged for all one-way pickup and drop-offs. Gratuity is included on all private tours longer than 4 days or reserved by a third party such as a travel agent or executive assistant.
